After School Acting/Theater Classes at Cogburn Woods Elementary

Does your child attend Cogburn Woods Elementary in Milton, GA and need a fun after school activity?

Our signature theater and acting class is creative and fun and takes place immediately after school at Cogburn Woods Elementary School. In a non-competitive, fun, creative atmosphere, the students have a blast while they learn acting skills which enhance their self-esteem and confidence.

Students work on concentration, communication skills, eye contact, interview techniques, projection, and memorization…all of which can be helpful on-stage, in the classroom and in everyday life!

Our theater classes include:

  • scene study
  • character development
  • improvisation
  • mime
  • interview
  • audition techniques

We have a presentation for family and friends on the last day of class!

My daughters have been involved with Building Character since 2011 and it has had a tremendous impact on their lives. They are more confident, outgoing and comfortable in new situations. Whitney and her team of teachers are amazing! They have an ability to teach and bring out each child's strength to build confidence and self-esteem. The children have a blast in the classes and always come out smiling, happy and singing. If your child is not involved with Building Character, I recommend finding the closest class and enrolling immediately because they are missing out.
