Middle School Performing Arts Acting Classes

Registration for Fall 2026 is Open!

We're excited to now be offering Building Character classes at the Alpharetta Arts Center in addition to our regular locations.

Join us for fun, skill and confidence-building theatre classes designed to boost creativity, confidence, and performance skills. In a non-competitive, exciting atmosphere the students will have a blast while they learn acting skills which will enhance their self-esteem and confidence.

Process to Performance for Middle School – Alpharetta Arts Center

Process to Performance Acting ClassesMondays 5:30-6:30
6th – 8th Grades
Sep 14, 2026 – Dec 14, 2026

A chance to learn and to perform! Students will spend time training and strengthening their technique, including improv, scene study, creativity, observation skills, physicality, and more! All while putting together a one-act show to be performed at the end of the session.

All of the Building Character acting classes are designed to work on life skills as well as instill a love and appreciation of the arts. Our classes will work on helping building self-confidence, creativity, memorization, concentration, and communication skills, all of which are important attributes to develop and keep polished.

Process to Performance – Webb Bridge Middle

Wednesdays 4:15-5:45
6th – 8th Grades
9/02/2026 – 11/18/2026

**You do NOT need to attend Webb Bridge to participate in this class.**

These classes are designed for students 6th – 8th grade who want to move onto the next level and work on their foundation skill set and performance experience. This session will work on improvisation, scene study, physicality, character development, audition techniques. Students will also work on ONE-ACT PLAYS for their PERFORMANCE. Performance fee is not charged, but students are responsible for their costumes if needed.

Extra class/rehearsal time will be added at NO CHARGE in order to prepare for the showcase. We will try to work around students other obligations but encourage attendance. This is a phenomenal class to work skills as well as gain stage experience!
