Shannon King earned her Master’s Degree training “across the pond”, completing the Professional Acting Course at Drama Studio London, and earning a certificate from Trinity College’s acting program. She is excited to share the knowledge she has gained overseas with our Building Character students.
Shannon started her training with dance starting at age 2, training in acting at 7, and vocals shortly after. She quickly built her resume with musical theatre productions, belonging to many prominent musical theatre companies, and now she has started directing musicals herself.
Spending most of her early career on the stage, she fell in love with the art of storytelling. She has recently started working in television and film in the Atlanta market. She can’t wait to get started as she has a passion for sharing what the arts can do for young lives.
